Insider's tip
It’s a great idea to combine the active journey with a relaxing beach holiday after the tour. If you want to hang out among the locals, head for Playas del Este, the beaches east of Havana. You can take a local bus from the city center, or book a Cuban guesthouse and stay at the beach for a couple of days. This is where the Habaneros strut their stuff!
